A SACK Full of Holiday Happenings

With the holidays just around the corner, everyone is looking for festive ways to get into the spirit of the season. Sure, you can experience the massive holiday rush on Fifth Avenue or weave through the crowds to get a glimpse of the tree in Rockefeller Center, or just ditch the craziness altogether and celebrate the holidays right here in The SACK with these upcoming treats:

Visit the Hackensack Christmas tree
Grab a hot chocolate and head to our recently lit holiday tree right at the Courthouse Green at 10 Main Street. The perfect festive photo op for friends and family.

A good old fashioned Christmas Caper
Buy your tickets now for HACPAC’s latest holiday show, The Christmas Caper. This musical must-see for the whole family is written and composed by MaryAnn DiMaria and Nick Picciallo. Admission is only $15 per person for the December 10 and 11 shows.

Holiday cheer for children
HACPAC is also proud to host its annual Children’s Holiday Party on December 18 from 10 am to 1 pm. Bring the little ones for an unforgettable time with a special guest coming right from the North Pole.

Calling all gingerbread house builders
All holiday season, the City of Hackensack will be taking submissions for the Gingerbread House Contest. Submit one photo of you making your sweet holiday house and one photo of it all completed to contest@hackensack.org by December 24. Winners and prizes will be announced at the Council meeting on January 11, 2022. Good luck!

So, what are you planning to do in The SACK this holiday season?
