CANCELLED: (R) Acting for Beginners Workshop

8-Session Series: March 9, 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27
You are invited to join actors Teddy Coluca and Johnson Public Library’s own Tony Lombardi for an 8-week acting workshop for beginners. Week 8 will be the finale when students can invite their friends and family to watch them perform.
Registration is limited to 12 students. Hackensack residents will be given priority. To register, call Cathy at 201-343-4169 x22 by March 6.
NOTE: Participants are required to come on the first week (March 9) prepared to tell a 2 to 3 minute personal story. Participants should also bring a short monologue from a play, movie, or an original piece to work on throughout the workshop.
Teddy’s favorite roles include The Ritz (Broadway), Nobody Don’t Like Yogi (Dorset), and Breaking Legs (The Company). Recent TV roles include The Blacklist, The Good Cop, and Blue Bloods. Recent film work: The Week Of, Hot Air, and The Comedian. Teddy also works at the Fordham School of Law as a Performer/Coach. Check him out at imdb.com
Tony has also enjoyed a long career in stage and film. He studied at H. B. Studios with Bill Hickey and Ensemble Studio Theater with Emma Walton Hamilton. Some of his favorite roles include “Stan” in How to Go Out on a Date in Queens (published) and “Cornelius” in Something Rotten in Denmark (published).
