Hey, Hackensack dog lovers! 🐾 Have you noticed the new additions to our beautiful Main Street? As part of our #dogsofhackensack program, we’ve installed five brand-new dog poop bag dispensers to help keep our streets clean and pristine. Whether you’re out for a stroll with your furry friend or just popping by for a quick walk, these dispensers could ensure you never get caught without a bag.
We know the feeling – sometimes, despite your best intentions, you just don’t have a bag handy. That’s where our dispensers come to the rescue! Each station has bags, so you can easily pick up after your pup and keep our sidewalks spotless. It’s a win-win for everyone – you, your dog, and the entire Hackensack community. All of Hackensack’s residents will enjoy a sparkling Main Street.
Why is picking up after your dog so important? Well, besides keeping our streets looking great, dog waste can carry harmful bacteria and parasites that can spread to other pets and even humans. Plus, leaving waste behind can lead to hefty fines. So, do yourself and your neighbors a favor by using these handy dispensers.
Keep Your Pooch Hydrated!
Our commitment to making Main Street a pet-friendly place for all the residents of Hackensack to enjoy doesn’t stop there. As part of our program, we also have pet watering stations set up outside participating stores on Main Street during the summer. So, while you’re enjoying a sunny day with your furry friend, they can stay hydrated too!
Also, be sure to check out our #dogsofhackensack content on Instagram. Upload pics of your pooch and join the fun!
We’re thrilled to have these five new stations in place and are eager to hear your feedback. This pilot program is all about making our city better for pets and their owners. So, next time you’re on Main Street, look out for our dog poop bag dispensers, pick up a bag, and do your part to keep Hackensack clean.
Happy walking, Hackensack! Let’s keep those tails wagging and our streets sparkling. 🐶✨
