Meet the Merchant:  “I’ve had this barbershop for 13 years. I grew up in Ecuador and learned my skills there. When I came to this country, I decided to continue working as a barber. Hackensack was a good place to open a shop because there are a lot of different kinds of people here. I like what I do and talking to people. We take care of everybody, from little kids to seniors. Women, too, for haircuts, coloring, manicures. I’m very optimistic about the future of this town. They’re making some good changes.” – Manuel Lema
