Meet the Merchant: “I was looking for another location for my restaurant, and I thought of Hackensack because there are a lot of Latinos here. And then I found out how reasonable the commercial real estate is, and we were able to get this really big space. So far, it’s doing well. It’s really a family place. We’re open from 7:00 in the morning for breakfast, until 11:00 p.m. at night, and we get a lot of big families in here. We want people to come here to hear good music and eat good food: steak, plaintains, rice. There’s a traditional Colombia bakery, too.
