Business Grants Now Available

The City of Hackensack is offering the following Grant for Businesses in Hackensack:

American Rescue Plan – Grant Application

The Mayor and Council would like to help those small businesses affected by the pandemic by making grants available to cover losses incurred because of the COVID-19 outbreak. This grant will be given to small businesses (25 employees or fewer) in the City of Hackensack. All businesses who meet the criteria below will be awarded between $500 and $2000. Incomplete applications will be denied or deferred. The committee retains the right to ask for further information. This grant will be available in 2021 and 2022. Any business that receives a grant in 2021 is NOT eligible for the second round in 2022. Grant Review Committee: Deputy Mayor Kathy Canestrino, Councilman Gerry Carroll, CFO James Mangin, HRCC Executive Director Lauren Zisa.
