LeVar Thomas started his journey with coffee in 2014, when he would continually search for specialty coffee shops in New York City to embrace his work-from-home needs.  He quickly realized the need for a similar atmosphere in the local Bergen County community where he grew up. Through research and various travels to coffee markets around the world, LeVar developed a deep-rooted love for coffee which led him to build a community centered around creating an experience.

Having spent a significant amount of time in Europe, where coffee is not just a beverage but a way of life,  Levar was captivated by the idea of sharing that passion and creating a welcoming coffee shop in Hackensack. He believed that by bringing a piece of the European coffee experience and infusing it with his own unique touches, he would provide the community with a remarkable and authentic coffee shop.
